Together, we call for civil disobedience.
Climate disasters, skyrocketing energy bills, human rights violations, neo-colonialism, war, and armed conflict…the least we can say is that our dependence on fossil fuels is costing us a high price. Despite this, the big polluters of this industry still do what they want. And fair climate and social policies for citizens and workers are still overdue.
In recent years, millions of us have mobilised to demand systemic and profound change. But nothing is really happening. Let’s all take the next step together, because action is urgently needed!
Code Red is back!
After TotalEnergies and Engie, we’re targeting aviation, a polluting industry that disrespects human rights and whose growth seems unstoppable. Unless…? From December 16 to 17, we’re taking action. #PeopleNotFlights
Why?
The aviation sector pollutes more and more. This industry, which has become an expert in greenwashing, enjoys all kinds of financial advantages. The sector thereby disproportionately affects the global majority, while its main beneficiaries are the 1%, who often do not have to suffer its harmful effects. That’s unfair!
The aviation industry disrupts the climate…
… and is inherently unjust and largely unnecessary.
Aviation thrives thanks to our subsidies and tax breaks…
… at the expense of food security and health
… and maintaining difficult working conditions.
Land and subsidies grabbing, worsening living conditions for marginalized, racialized and underprivileged communities, worsening working conditions… It is high time to put the aviation industry in check and make a radical U-turn, putting people and planet first. Join us now!
